I have been using it for some over view pics and I feel the camera is poor quality. we have used a different brand in the past and gotten beautiful Pictures while this one Blurry and poor quality it also has a glitched when the battery is low by flying straight up and ignoring controls and not landing when being directed.
I HAVE USED THIS F28 AS WELL AS THE F28 PRO AND F28 PREMIUM WITH MY SAMSUNG GALAXY PHONES AS WELL AS MY GALAXY TABLET AND MY IPHONE 12.
I GET THE BEST RESULTS AND CONNECTIVITY WHEN I PUT THE PHONE ON AIRPLANE MODE FIRST. THEN POWER ON THE DRONE, THEN REMOTE, AND LASTLY CONNECT TO WIFI OF DRONE. THEN OPEN THE APP AND CALIBRATE. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN I HAD NO VIDEO DISPLAY ON PHONE SCREEN BUT REPEATING THESE STEPS SOLVED THAT PROBLEM. THE QUALITY OF THE IMAGES ARE NOTICIBLY BETTER WHEN UPLOADED FROM THE SD CARD COMPARED TO STREAMING, VERY NOTICABLE. THE PRO CAMERA IS A LITTLE BIT BETTER AND DOES HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF ZOOM BUT THE PREMIUM IS AMAZING!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT AT FIRST HUGE IMPROVMENT OVER THE PRO AND ENTRY LEVEL CAMERA. A MORE COMPLEX GIMBLE CONFIGURATION WHICH MAY BE TO BLAME FOR THE INCREDIBLE SMOOTH MOVEMENTS AND CLEAR PICS & VIDEO. I WILL SEE ABOUT UPLOADING IMAGES I HAVE FROM THE 3 DIFFERENT MODELS FOR COMPARISON. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED AS A BEGINNER DRONE PILOT CONTIXO OFFERS A RANGE OF PRODUCTS SHOWING ME THE $55 F19 UPTO THE $279 F28 PREMIUM AND FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO GET STARTED I WOULD RECOMEND SKIPPING THE $50-100 DRONES AND START WITH A BASIC GPS EQUIPPED DRONE. FAR MORE ENJOYABLE AND THE GPS AND RETURN HOME FEATURE MAKE IT LESS DISPOSABLE THAN THE CHEAP ONES THAT I CANNOT SEEM TO GET MORE THAN ONE CHARGE CYCLE OUT OF BEFORE THEY FLY OFF OR CRASH.
This drone is straightforward to set up and presents an initial impression of flight. I am profoundly impressed with the array of modes, particularly the feature that allows the drone to follow me, which assists me, particularly when navigating a golf course, is commendable.
I have the F28 that i can not pair to the remote. The blue and red lights do not flash on stay up like the manual says. I only have the white battery indicator lights.
The instructions tell you to connect to the drone but not how. I have been trying for about four hours to just get the controller to connect to the drone with total failure on each attempt. Nowhere on the BestBuy info do you find a how-to. Nowhere on the makers website do you find a how-to. I finally found instructions a frustrated user's comments where they said you have to turn-off all other wifi connections and apps on your phone to make it work. I"m sorry, but having to reconnect and restart takes the pleasure out of flying.
I thought I’d give this drone a chance so I went and bought it . Boy ! Did I make a mistake , good thing about this drone is the 4k video, it shows good clear videos and pictures and that’s it..the down fall with this drone is the battery, it dies in 15 minutes, not good at all and forget about finding a replacement because no one sells this battery not even eBay or Best Buy, I’ll never buy a toy drone from Contixo ever again and as for customer service, they are the worse..
I mean the drone works. And it’s an introductory drone. However I did expect the app to work a little better and the drone to be a little more stable. It’s easy to use and the range is eh. I can go to the other side of my neighborhood before the video feed starts to get choppy. Frankly, the only good thing I have to say about the drone is that it works and it serves its purpose. Do not have high expectations when you purchase the drone or you will be let down. If you want to have a cheap drone to fly for fun go ahead but do not buy this drone for any kind of picture taking purposes.
I flew it to test and it flew nice and smooth. The camera has a great angle and I would recommend this drone to drone lovers.
Wow !!!!!!!!! This thing has absolutely blown me away. This drone has more technology stuffed into it than I thought possible at this price point. I’m really impressed and I’m now in search for an extra battery so I can fly more.
The drone is great to fly all the things that it has are great like rth the one thing I wish it did was tell me how fast it is going. this drone is reccomended.
